Andy is a dedicated musician specializing in Appalachian Folk music, bringing together the traditional sounds of the fiddle, banjo, dobro, and guitar.

Andy plays traditional mountain music the way he learned it, keeping the character of the original songs while putting his own spin on them.

His approach is firmly rooted in tradition: he plays fiddle and sings at the same time — a classic old-time style — and on banjo he keeps alive the now rare two-finger-index-lead technique which he utilises on his 1800's fretless banjo.

In his extensive performance history Andy has shared a stage with: Andy Tymens, Andy Lenton, Harry Li, Rob Oldfield, Ian Tumilty, Gaz Clitheroe, Austin T, Experimental Sonic Machines, and many more.

He's performed banjo, sang, and interviewed live on the BBC, and played on the Main Stage and Four Counties Stage at Lincolnshires biggest Folk festival, as well at as many other venues across the county and nationwide.

In addition to his solo performances Andy also lends his instrumental and vocal skills on stage and in the studio as a sideman to various other bands in the Country and Folk genres including Dead Man's Boots, Normal For Somewhere, and Rat River Trappers.

As well as performance, Andy also specialises in recording and producing music, having recorded and produced albums for various other artists in the Country and Folk genres.
